Community Partners

Fisherfolk Associations

Reefs for Life works hand-in-hand with 9 Fisherfolk Associations representing more than 500 members and 10,000 people in fishing communities across the region.

These community partners manage marine protected areas and sea warden programs — transforming local fishermen from reef threats into reef caretakers.

College student volunteers also play a key role in our operations, bringing energy and education into our conservation work.

Community Partners

"We love people and we love the coral reefs. We can help save the reefs and provide a better future for coastal communities when we engage both the environment and the people."
